The late Col. Philip Corso, who served as a liaison aide of President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s National Security Council, contended that President Ronald Reagan and the then Soviet Union Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev were compelled to end the Cold War because they and the rest of the world faced a serious and ongoing threat from extraterrestrials.
I mention this to introduce the idea that our governments may be close mouthed about UFOs and extraterrestrials, which some see as immoral, but they have not been negligent in their attempt to protect us, according to some.
Ongoing Alien Abductions And Harassment
Corso claimed that Reagan’s Star Wars space-weapon initiative, or Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), was developed, not to threaten the Russians — but to fend off the continued harassment of invading aliens against our air space, astronauts, citizens and our spy satellite program. Corso also claims that Reagan assured Gorbachev that the United States would include Russian in our Star Wars shield against aliens — and this cemented the deal to end the Cold War.
In truth, Reagan appeared to allude to this in a Dec. 4, 1985 speech when Reagan spoke about his first summit with Gorbachev at Fallston High School in Maryland.
Reagan said during one of his 5-hour private discussions with Gorbachev he said.”…how easy his task and mine might be in these meetings that we held if suddenly there was a threat to this world from some other species from another planet outside in the universe. We’d forget all the little local differences that we have between our countries…”
Score One For The Gipper
Corso, who was a known political conservative, claims in his book “The Day after Roswell,” that during the Reagan administration the United States successfully shot down– with a newly developed particle beam –an extraterrestrial vehicle invading our air space.
